I am from Santa Cruz, CA, raised by a single mother in a multi-generational, low-income, and entirely feminine household. I grew up surrounded by art, nature, dance, play, and music; I connect and intertwine these experiences in my art. I found my independence in Chicago and continued dipping my toes into every art form that called to me while attending Columbia College Chicago.

Reva Puhl Beltran is a queer, mixed-race Indigenous artist originally from Santa Cruz, CA. They are an enrolled member of the Pyramid Lake Paiute Tribe, located outside of Reno, Nevada. From an early age, Reva has immersed themselves in art, exploring a wide range of mediums, including drawing, painting, printmaking, comics, dance, sculpture, beadwork, photography, and writing. Their creative journey eventually led them to filmmaking and production design, where they found a powerful way to blend storytelling with visual artistry.
